We hired Bob Tellesen and Vogue Homes on the recommendation of a neighbor whose beautiful, Tahoe style home was built by Vogue Homes. Our project was a revision of an outdoor patio built as part of an earlier remodel/expansion of our home by another contractor. There was a design flaw in the original patio with inadequate drainage resulting in a recurrent leak through the wood ceiling. Bob and his crew removed the flawed infrastructure and replaced it with a far more aesthetic finish and resolved the drainage issue. We also included some functional upgrades such as an outdoor fireplace and built in gas BBQ. In the process, Bob made several suggestions which greatly enhanced the beauty of the project. He had a great crew and his subcontractors were uniformly excellent. We have thoroughly enjoyed our beautiful outdoor space and recommend Vogue Homes to anyone looking for top tier quality and exceptional workmanship.

Beautifully completed project. Core group of contractors and subs that regularly work with Vogue are reliable, professional and knowledgeable. True craftsmen, which are hard to find these days. This was a whole house remodel down to the framing and hardscaping, taking 14 months to complete. The project grew and direction changed. Vogue was responsive to our changes and handled follow up in a timely manner. Office staff is always courteous and professional. We recommend Vogue and are still in love with our home!

We spent about a year remodeling our home. The first 5-6 months was a "period of discovery" after some previous remodeling that was not done well. We lived in the house the whole time. We met with an architect prior to hiring Vogue Homes and she recommended Bob. He was good about letting the design process evolve as this project was without formal overall plans. Permits were obtained.

We used a designer twice for a few hours. Most of the design decisions were ours with the help of the lead project manager, Matt. The team at Vogue was great, easy to have around, professional and the best finish carpenters. Our home had old growth, clear heart redwood trim and we wanted to reuse as much of it as we could. We can't say enough about the quality of work and the creative process that took place.

I can't say enough about the master craftsmanship, professionalism and courtesy offered by Bob and his staff and sub-contractors. We've worked with him through two projects on our East Sacramento home including a master suite/bathroom, laundry addition as well as a front porch, bathroom and bedroom renovation. Additionally, Bob has provided me with guidance and support in my homes in Davis and South Lake Tahoe.
We took on these projects, perhaps fool-hardy, as we were actively growing our family. We also are very private people. Bob, his staff and his sub-contractors couldn't have been more respectful of our privacy and space. The design team and his carpenters could also take the verbal picture I painted and transform it into the dream home I wanted.
